OYE is working to help the youth to have gainful employment and reach their full potential. So, that they can live a meaningful life with dignity, integrity, and self-worth.

About the Chairman

Dasho Ugen Tsechup is the chairperson of the Organization for Youth Empowerment, succeeding his brother Lyonpo Sangye Ngedup.

Dasho has served and continues to serve in various high-level public posts. Dasho serves as the chairman of the Singye Groups of Companies and Zimdra Pvt. Ltd, President of Bhutan Football Federation, Honorary Consul General of Thailand and served as the president of Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Dasho has contributed immensely to the private sector development of the country.

Message from Lyonpo Sangay Ngedup

Hon’ble Lyonpo Sangay Ngedup is the founder and patron of the Bhutan Jamchong Thuendrel Foundation. His Excellency served as the former Prime Minister of Bhutan for two terms (1999 -2000 and 2005 – 2006).

Bhutan Jamchong Thuendrel Foundation was established on 28th February 2018. A local initiative, BJTF functions as the Bhutanese chapter to the South Asia Foundation (SAF).

Our primary focus are youth that are school-going, enrolled in Technical Training Institutes, or those that have entered the labour market and experience difficulty in finding meaningful employment.
