Welcome by SAF Alumni Network Coordinator.
The Coordinator of Bhutan SAF Alumni Network, Mr.  Sonam Tobgay welcomed the participants and expressed gratitude to Madam France for organizing the gathering of the 19 students. He also thanked the MSF, particularly the late HE Ambassador Madanjeet Singh, for giving the opportunity to undergo scholarship programs in the SARRC region. He also mentioned that the scholarship beneficiaries are in a better position in the world of work and serve in various capacities in the government, corporate and private sectors

Key Note address by Madam France, Principal Trustee, MSF
Madam France, who is also the Principal Trustee of the MSF thanked the Alumni for making it to the meeting. She explained the dreams of the founding father and urged all Alumni members to play a proactive role in furthering the vision of the foundation and also said that it is time to ask each one to pay back in kind. She urged the participants to come up with programs and activities and advocate the relevant stakeholders on the significance of the establishment of the MSF and also think of sustaining in their receptive countries. She also informed the gathering that the centenary celebration of the founding father is going to take place in Nepal on 16 April 2024. She expected that each chapter would come up with new ideas and programs for the celebration and that each chapter would be represented by 25 Alumni who are active in their respective SAF chapters.
