Choki Zam | Organization for Youth Empowerment

I have been truly blessed to have received the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh scholarship to pursue my M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering and Management from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka from 2018 to 2019. I like many other individuals from SAARC countries feel eternally grateful to the SAF Goodwill Ambassador and Founder of the Madanjeet Singh Foundation (MSF) and South Asia Foundation (SAF), the Late Shri Madanjeet Singh for providing us with scholarship that helps us the students to learn, pursue and build our career with the education and support we receive from our respective universities. The learning, exposure, and knowledge we gain from education aid us in redirecting and firming up our purpose in life with ample opportunities after we graduate.
I am currently working in Gyalsung Infra, under His Majesty’s Secretariat as a deputy executive engineer in MEP. I mainly head the plumbing division with internal water supply and sanitation design, boq cost estimation, resource planning, and monitoring the quality control and assurance while site works are executed. I am also engaged in coordinating house connections with the external and internal water supply and sanitation design.
