Scouts Youth undergoing Leadership Training at Paro | Organization for Youth Empowerment
Executive Director shared the mandates of the OYE with the 14th Batch of Scouts undergoing Leadership Training comprising of Class XII graduates at the National Scouts Centre, Paro. 91 Participants from 20 Dzongkhags & 4 Thromde were gathered at the Centre for a week’s program.
During the feedback session, the participants suggested that OYE should initiate Entrepreneurship Clubs in the schools to create a platform and keep informed of the school youth choosing the right career path depending on their aptitude and potential. It was further suggested that similar advocacy and education programs should be carried out regularly emphasizing the employment opportunities and career options including the significance of taking up skilled jobs.
