Courtesy call on Hon'ble Minister of MoLHR

BJTF was granted an audience with Hon’ble Lyonpo,Ministry of Labour and Human Resource on 6^th March 2019  at the Hon’ble Minister’s office, Ministry of  Labor and Human Resource.

The following discussion were held:

The Executive Director of BJTF thanked the Hon’ble Lyonpo for his invaluable time and presented an overview of the Foundations background, aims and objectives.

Lyonpo acknowledged BJTF’s initiatives to highlight and promote the opportunities of Technical jobs. He also highlighted on the need to help youths with creative business ideas, facilitating these groups, sensitizing the society in general with regards to Technical jobs and curb rural- urban migration .The government has allocated a budget  of Nu.2.8 million to enhance and support TVET.

For proper implementation and to avoid duplication, both parties agreed to collaborate through sharing of  ideas and facilitating each others activities.
